The Load button allows to load the directional data to process.
Data can be organised as records with directions and values, or as frequencies. When data are loaded as frequencies, not all the analyses can be carried out (for example it will be not possible to plot roses of average speeds, or of maximum speeds).
IMPORTANT: The decimal separator of real numbers must be a dot (.), not a comma (,). If this is not the case, WindRosePRO will not function correctly.
When data are organised in records, they can be loaded as
ASCII CSV (Comma Separated Values) file or as
MS Excel files. When they are organised in frequencies, a specific file format
(FRQ) is needed.
